Welcome to the home page of Pitcalc - produced in 1982 as an archaeological site planning tool to run on a 48K Sinclair Spectrum computer.
Thanks to continued development of Spectrum emulation programs it is now very easy to run Pitcalc on a modern PC.
Using simple trigonometry Pitcalc calculates distances, circle diameters, cartesian coordinates and triangle sides.
In addition to Archaeologists, Pitcalc may be of interest to Teachers, Cartographers, Navigators, Geologists, Architects and Mathematicians !
